About the Author

Elena Christine Royal studied literature and theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville before receiving an MFA in Creative Writing from Pine Manor College. She has had the privilege of studying under published authors such as Laura Williams McCaffrey, David Yoo, and Renée Watson. She spent the last eleven years teaching high school English and Theology, and she recently accepted a position teaching medieval literature and history at Chesterton Academy in St. Louis, MO. She lives in a brick storybook home with her dog, Mary Magdalene ("Maggie").
